Weekends for Kids – At the Beach
We’ve got buckets full of worthless, broken shells, a little sunburn in places, and fond memories of large starfish we’ve found in morning tide pools … not to mention an angry blue crab we agitated as it sat deep in its sand hole. It came out to play eventually!
All of this only 18 hours into a mini-beach vacation north of Charleston.
Which begs the question: what are some of your favorite beach vacation memories with your kids?

We have a bucket full of shells in the garage and add to it after each adventure. We have seen sharks and dolphins in the water. There was also a shark on the beach that someone had caught. Searching for shark teeth is usually on the agenda.
